I started taking up drawing when I was in middle school in 2008, started off sketching on my homework and looking up inspiration and following other great artist on Deviantart. I LOVE doing it to express me feelings and to take my mind off things. Plus, I love it when I try something new like a new tactic or a completely different art project in general. I was to college and instead of pursuing an art degree, I actually have a wildlife science degree. After working with Bass Pro as an Imagery Specialist from 2018-2020, I have learned so many new things in the those few years, which has allowed my artistic knowhow to expand greatly. I was able to go from strictly traditional art, to learning 3D art such as sculpting rocks for waterfalls and large scale trees for the Bass Pro Stores across the United States and Canada, to building structural supports, to creating animal enrichment items, learning how to airbrush taxidermy fish, etc. Currently, I work at a local sign shop as a sign painter to continue increasing my experience in the artistic field. All throughout these jobs, I've have had a long list of commissioned projects in line that I try to complete when I can. Now that I am out of school and have experience in many other fields, I now can offer epoxy sculpting, fabrication, airbrushing, photoshop work, leather work, and so much more to my list of skills!
By the way, I am a huge dog person (if you couldnt tell by my gallery.) As you will see, one of my main art subjects is my German Shepard pup named Daisy. I got her when I was a freshmen in high school and she was the cause for a lot of my inspiration for the numerous dog portraits I have created. I love her very much and she was the best dog. She passed away in 2019, but she continues to inspire me and my art. Doing a portrait of her after she passed, I learned how theraputic these created portraits of your pet can be for people. Im happy that I can create something for people that are grieving from a lost fur baby, that brings them some peace and makes them remember the best moments instead of focusing on the passing. Our pets change our lives, whether it be a dog, a cat, or a lizard, they all have a special place in our hearts, and they deserve to be honored.
